FAQs
Vitaklenz

Do I need to change my diet when using Vitaklenz?
No. Vitaklenz contains a strong enough complement of herbs to work independent of diet changes. Some manufacturers provide a long list of dietary recommendations to accompany their ‘anti-parasitic’ treatments. These dietary restrictions are necessary to starve unhealthy organisms, making them more susceptible to their formulas. This is not needed with Vitaklenz products.
Do you recommend a binder be used with Vitaklenz? (Binders can be tricky as they can make people constipated and I find that if they do need a binder, it is generally only for a few days.)

No. When used in conjunction with Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost, there is generally no need for a ‘binder’ to help eliminate toxins while using Vitaklenz. We have often noted comments from our practitioner partners on the binding effects of the ocean-derived sea minerals themselves. This is enough to usher toxins out of the body through normal channels.
Additionally, Vitkalenz contains herbs that are well-credentialled for their liver-stimulating effects. These are often more critical to the success of alleged ‘anti-parasite’ programs than binders, as it is the liver that processes the toxins out of the system in the first place. Liver stimulants kick-start the elimination action, and their presence can also mitigate Herxeheimer reaction (or ‘die-off’) effects down to levels that are more easily manageable.
Binders can be employed, if required, for short bursts during excessive die-off periods, but often just increasing sea minerals and drinking lots of water will do the same thing.
This is one of the unique approaches of the Vitaklenz system. Everything that is needed is in the formulas, resulting in less complicated protocols for people who may struggle to comply with strict or complicated instructions while balancing a busy lifestyle. Simpler, laxative-style approaches require a greater number of products, a more complex set of protocols, or a long list of dietary restrictions to work. Additionally, as you correctly observe, binders can cause constipation and have other deleterious effects on the system when overused.
I can now safely say to you, “you know how manufacturers LOVE to put a whole pile of psyllium husk in their product and a sparing sprinkle of the herbs”. I am glad to see this is not AT ALL you! :)

Yes, it really annoys us how manufacturers love to market laxatives as 'anti-parasite treatments'. They do have a place, but are useless for organisms is any other organ - blood, liver, kidneys, eyeball, etc.
Do I need a consultation to buy Vitaklenz products?

No. Vitaklenz products are classified as ‘over-the-counter’ (OTC) products, so you can pick one up at your local health food store, clinic, or from an online retailer.
What Is The Recommended Dosage Of Vitaklenz?

Each bottle of Vitaklenz contains one complete treatment for one adult at the recommended dosage (i.e. 90 capsules @ 3 per day).
The length of the treatment (at least one month) is critical to break the lifecycle of the most common targeted organisms. There are no specific dietary restrictions while using Vitaklenz, however it is recommended that 2 litres (just over 4 pints) of water be taken daily during the treatment.
Some have found it beneficial to use a double dose of Vitaklenz as part of their initial treatment. They either take it over 2 months consecutively at the recommended dose, or over one month by doubling the number of capsules taken (2 caps, 3 times per day). This is helpful in cases of extreme or very long-term infestation.

Repeat every 6-12 months to help the body remain free of unhealthy organisms.
I've read that 'antiparasitic' treatments should be interrupted for short periods throughout the course to allow eggs to hatch, thereafter resuming taking the herbs to kill them off. Should Vitaklenz be used in this way?

No. Vitaklenz is designed to be used continuously for a minimum 30-day period. The formula is complex enough to cater for unhealthy organisms in all their lifecycle stages. An 'all guns blazing' approach usually works best.
Often 60 or even 90-day continuous treatments are recommended by practitioners depending on what is being addressed, or when symptoms are present or a cleanse of this type has not been done for many years.
We do not recommend Vitaklenz be used for periods longer than 120 continuous days prior to taking a break.

When should I incorporate Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost into a Vitaklenz treatment?

Adding Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost to Vitaklenz is our go-to option for more significant cases (i.e. when symptoms are present) or when people haven’t done a thorough cleanse of this type for a long time. Ocean-derived sea minerals are ions and so they are binders and carriers (the secret behind the magic of ionic bonding, the basis of all elements in the universe), and so they also carry the herbs from Vitaklenz in to the system far more efficiently.
In addition to this, Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost has its own herb profile that fits in perfectly with the action of the herbs in Vitaklenz, incorporating a more complete approach.
Can Vitaklenz and Genesis Sea Minerals be taken at the same time or is it better for them to be taken separately?

You take these two products concurrently, but Vitaklenz does work best before meals and Sea Minerals Supa Boost works best after meals.
Am I able to take all 3 Vitaklenz tablets within a 5-hour window daily or am I best to space them out more than this?

While it certainly is best to take Vitaklenz and Vitaklenz for Kidz spaced out throughout the day, we are aware of practitioners that recommend taking them on only 2 occasions throughout the day instead of 3 and are still getting good results. You can also take all of your Vitaklenz within a 5-hour window if you wish, but try and space out the dosages throughout that time frame.
What happens if I forget to take my dose at lunchtime?

Vitkalenz products are very flexible. If you forget to take them on one occasion throughout the day, then you can double up on the next occasion. Or alternatively, take your second dose when you get home from work and the final one just before bed.
Can Children Take Vitaklenz (capsules)?

Vitaklenz for Kidz is an ideal option for safely and effectively treating children. Delivered in chewable tablets that taste great, children can take Vitaklenz for Kidz as soon as they can chew. In some cases however, the broader action of Vitaklenz (capsules) will be the preferred option.
Vitaklenz is not routinely recommended for children under 12 at the recommended dose. Many however have reported great benefits in giving reduced dosages to their younger children. One mum reported that her 7-year old did well on 2 capsules per day.
Normal use of Vitaklenz may incur side-effects such as nausea, headaches or a general unwell feeling. This is due to the release of toxins into the blood stream from the dying parasites as they are being cleansed out of the system. These effects can be a little unpleasant, but last only one or two days at the most before the cleansing part of the program is passed.
Children might start on such a dose. Watch how the child reacts to the cleansing effects. If they handle it okay, a gradual increase in dose may be in order. If the unpleasant effects are too difficult, try reducing the dose temporarily. If the effects last four or more days stop the treatment.
A physician reported successfully treating infants as young as 12-months old with Vitaklenz. Of course, a very reduced dosage was administered and the formula was removed from the capsules prior to giving it to the children for ease of swallowing. Additionally, the tiny dose administered to such a young infant made possible disguising the awful taste of the powder contained in the capsules. Nevertheless, this illustrates the safe and stable nature of the all-natural ingredients.
Do you recommend that children take Vitaklenz for as long as adults?

We recommend all people do a minimum treatment of 30 days on Vitaklenz or Vitaklenz for Kidz, regardless of the age. This is dependent on the length of the organism lifecycles being addressed. 60 days is recommended when symptoms are present (i.e. a more significant infection) or when they haven’t done an anti-parasitic cleanse for many years prior.
How often should I repeat treatments?

This is really impossible to answer as this depends on many variables, including location, diet, culture, state of individual health, heredity, etc. Often repeating once or twice a year is all that is needed to keep the most common organisms down to levels where the immune system can do its job and keep the targeted organisms at bay, but many people will repeat a ‘weeding’ treatment every 6 months as a matter of course.
The value of ‘seeding’ and ‘feeding’ in the meantime cannot be understated. This means taking good nutrition, vitamins, the right minerals in balance and fermented foods (for probiotic intake) every day in between ‘weeding’ treatment stages. The boxed kit Genesis Wellness 30 Day Program Seed & Feed is designed to cover all of these bases. This is a great option for using every day in non-weeding, or non-elimination months.
Is it possible to experience a detox feeling when stopping Vitaklenz?

Normally you wouldn’t expect a die-off experience when stopping the treatment, but we do note that some effects are often noticed when treating long-term or well entrenched candida problems at or around the 60-day mark with effective treatments. The presence of die-off at this late stage might indicate that you need to extend the Vitaklenz course for another month.
Have you ever had anyone complain of Vitaklenz causing constipation?

Yes. Constipation or (conversely) diarrhoea are common signs of Herxheimer reaction (JHR), or ‘die-off’. This depends on the type of organisms being eliminated and the way the person’s individual system is processing the herbs, and is often the first positive sign that the treatment is working. Constipation can be managed by varying the dosage of the Sea Minerals Supa Boost.
I was recommended Vitaklenz to treat both my 5-month infant and myself for giardia. How do I treat her since she is too young take Vitaklenz for Kidz?

We can’t make any claims in writing about our products treating named conditions due to legislative constraints, but we can pass on some feedback from how many practitioners are using Vitaklenz to support the treatment of this bug. (We are allowed to claim that Vitaklenz supports a healthy digestive function, after all - I hope you understand.) The following comments are based on this.
Vitaklenz capsules can be opened and fed to infants. We normally don’t recommend this due to the extremely unpleasant taste (bitter + garlic), but at the age of 5-months you would only use about a quarter of a capsule per day, and at these minute amounts it might be possible to disguise small amounts in her food throughout the day. If you are giving her savoury food then that is the best medium (sweet foods don’t work well with the garlic content of Vitaklenz).
We would also suggest giving her Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost to supplement the use of Vitaklenz based on the feedback from the many practitioners we work with. This is safe for infants and will help boost the effectiveness of Vitaklenz, useful when you have small children and can only administer small amounts of the capsule contents
Sea Minerals are an awful-tasting, dense liquid, and the Supa Boost version in the range contains a number of herbs that will work hand-in-glove with the herbs of Vitaklenz. At 5 months of age she should only require 1 drop per day to start off with, but you can gradually increase her dose up to 3 or 4 drops potentially over the period of a few weeks. If she has very watery motions in her nappy/diaper then just back off the dose. Sea Minerals must always be given diluted, and the Supa Boost should be consumed as soon as you have done so. We would suggest placing a single drop in her food just prior to eating. It might be a good idea to avoid using Vitaklenz and Supa Boost in the same food portion until you see how she reacts to the relative tastes of these two products. As a suggestion, Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost can be used in food as a salt substitute.
As for yourself, 1 capsule of Vitaklenz taken 3 times per day, ideally 20-30 minutes prior to meals, and Supa Boost taken 2ml x 3 times per day with or following meals is often the course taken by practitioners. You can take the Sea Minerals all at once for convenience if you prefer - 1 teaspoon diluted in a mouthful of juice (fingers over the nose), then follow with a glass of water will help mitigate the taste.
Can I open Vitaklenz capsules and give to my kids (8,6,4) at a smaller dose if needed. I am aware you have the Vitaklenz for Kids but by looking at the website it looks like it is only targeted towards worms. We have had a history with Dientamoeba (twice in 1 year) and I’d love to do a cleanse with them that actually can target that parasite as well as worms.

You cannot open Vitaklenz capsules and take the powder due to the extremely bitter taste of the herbs (with the exception of minute amounts of powder offered to very young infants and heavily disguised in savoury food). We’ve tried for over 20 years to disguise the taste for occasions such as this, and nothing works.
We are very familiar with Dientamoeba fragilis though, and are aware of many practitioners that use Vitaklenz products to support their clients through the elimination process. Vitaklenz is delivered in a size-1 capsule which is OK to swallow for most children from about the age of 7 or 8. We’d suggest you give that a go at a reduced dosage of 1 capsule per day, supported by around a half a teaspoon per day of Sea Minerals Supa Boost (diluted, can break this dosage up throughout the day for taste).
Failing that you can either use Vitaklenz as a suppository if it can’t be swallowed, but only 1 capsule every 2 days for a child as young as 4-years old, or use Vitaklenz for Kidz in conjunction with Sea Minerals Supa Boost (which has some evidence of usefulness while treating this organism from practitioner feedback).
Will Vitaklenz help with IBS and stomach problems including poor digestion and bloating?

Unfortunately owing to the rigorously enforced laws of both the United States and Australia we are prevented from making any claims about our products and how they can be used for named conditions such as IBS.
Nevertheless, we are aware of hundreds of practitioners using our various products to support their protocols in treating such conditions. As a suggestion you might try using Vitaklenz in combination with Sea Minerals Supa Boost for 2-3 months and see how you feel throughout this time.
My son and I started Vitaklenz with Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost about a month ago. We are both having a lot of fatigue and my son’s skin is breaking out more (he has acne from candida). I’m assuming that this is a good thing and that it is working, but I just wanted to check and make sure these symptoms are normal. Should we increase the Sea Minerals Supa Boost (we are taking a 1/2 tsp-3/4tsp daily) or add a binder like zeolite to help with die off? How long do you think it will take for these symptoms to reduce?

The symptoms you describe are certainly in line with what we would expect with die-off, and are usually a first sign that the treatment is working. It is a little unusual to have these signs after 30 days on the treatment though, but can be known particularly in the case of long-term candida infection. We note you have mentioned candida in connection with your son’s condition.
Normal dosage of the Sea Minerals Supa Boost is 1 full teaspoon split up throughout the day, although you can take it all on the one occasion for convenience as well. You are certainly under-dosing with the Supa Boost based on your comments, and so we would recommend you immediately progress onto a full suggested dose of this product.
Binders are generally not needed with the Vitaklenz system as the ions in sea minerals will effectively attach to toxins and help usher them out of the system (aka chelation therapy), but if you decide to use a high-quality zeolite or activated carbon product for a short period then this would not hurt.
Normally die-off symptoms resolve after a day or two, so we would also suggest something is not working to its full potential here. Together with increasing your Sea Minerals Supa Boost intake, ensure you are drinking at least 3 pints of water per day and see how things progress.
Can I take Vitaklenz without food?

Vitaklenz can be taken both with and without food. Vitaklenz works a little better if taken 20-30 minutes prior to a meal, but if you forget or your routine doesn’t allow, then take with or after your meal, or even during a fast, when convenient. It will still work.
Should my child or I stop taking our daily multivitamins and probiotics while on the 30-day Vitaklenz treatment?

No, your child does not have to stop taking any other treatments while on Vitaklenz. The action of the herbs in Vitaklenz tends to be independent of other processes and so is fine to use under these circumstances.
The only exception to that rule is with respect to probiotics. As Vitaklenz is an eliminator, there is a possibility that some of the benefit of the probiotics might be limited while on this stage of his treatment. You might suspend using probiotics during this time and then resume just a day or two before the end of the course of Vitaklenz capsule, however this is mainly just a value-for-money consideration.
Of course, if you are concerned you can always check with a practitioner experienced in herbs to make sure. They often have some great diagnostic systems available to them, even simple muscle testing, to make sure things are fine in combination. This would particularly be advisable in combining Vitaklenz with pharmaceutical drugs.
How long prior to a meal should I ideally take Vitaklenz? I understand the formula is still effective if you take it in conjunction with a meal, but could I swallow the pill ahead of a big meal with a handful of sultanas or something soft, just to try to follow as closely as possible the recommended dosage?

Vitaklenz is a complex formula with some of the 12 herbs working best on an empty stomach and others better on a full stomach. On balance it seems to work a little better if you take it prior to meals, but will still be effective if you take it with or after a meal regardless of when that is.
It is important to remember that Vitaklenz is not a drug with very defined dosage instructions. Herbs rely on nutrition to accomplish their action, and so the Vitaklenz products are very forgiving with respects to how you take them or when. For example, if you forget to take a dose through the middle of the day you can double up at night with no problems, but sticking to the recommendation if you can is a good idea, which means ideally 20-30 minutes before a meal.
If you are concerned about a loss of effectiveness by taking the capsules with a meal then by all means add in Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost to your protocol as well. This will boost effectiveness of the herbs by significantly increasing absorption of the natural constituents in the formula, and its own herbal profile (unique formula) fits in around the Vitaklenz herbs like a hand-in-glove.
Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost are a liquid formula taken diluted in juice or water with or following a meal (they have a pretty intense taste, so be prepared.) You must take these diluted due to the concentration of the minerals.
I am using Vitaklenz before the three meals during the day and then taking a probiotic at night before bed. Just checking that this is fine and there are no negatives to this.

We don’t recommend you use a probiotic for the period that you are also taking Vitaklenz. While there are no contraindications with this practice, there is some thought that Vitaklenz might lessen the impact of the probiotics in Vitaklenz Recharge resulting in less effectiveness. This is mainly a value-for-money consideration, but also really focussing on short, concentrated periods of ‘weeding’ before moving on to ‘seeding’ (use of probiotics) is a good mindset.
Should you wish to continue taking Vitaklenz Recharge or other probiotics then by all means continue taking them at a time of day away from Vitaklenz such as you are doing.
Can I crush the Vitaklenz tablet to ingest it? I am really bad at swallowing pills whole. I can swallow them with food, but I know you are supposed to have the tablet before food. Swallowing them with water alone is nearly impossible for me.

Vitaklenz comes in capsules so you can’t crush them. Additionally, you can’t really open the capsules and take the raw powder inside either due to the extremely bitter taste of the herbs.

You absolutely can swallow Vitaklenz capsules with food. It tends to work a little better on an empty stomach, but you would still get good results from taking it on a full stomach.
Some other suggestions:

-
Vitaklenz capsules can be used as a suppository. A bit inconvenient and unpleasant, but a way to get around the inability to swallow capsules. Make sure the capsule is well coated in coconut oil, KY or another inert lubricant and insert at night before bedtime.
-
Vitaklenz for Kidz comes in chewable tablets. It’s not quite as broad-acting as Vitaklenz capsules, but will still do a great job, particularly if you use it in conjunction with Sea Minerals Supa Boost.
What are your ingredients in Vitaklenz? I can't find a picture of the label on your website.

You’ll find a list of all of the ingredients of Vitaklenz products here, with links leading off to referenced articles on each herbal ingredient: https://www.genesishealthproducts.com/vitaklenz
Can Vitaklenz be taken along with others such as fish oil?

There are no contraindications in taking Vitaklenz with the products you mention, e.g. fish oil and Vitamin B.
Does Vitaklenz contain zeolite?

No .Vitaklenz products do not contain zeolite.
Does Vitaklenz impact potassium levels?

We are not aware of anything in Vitaklenz that will impact your potassium levels in any way.
How Do I Store Vitaklenz?

Vitaklenz should ideally be stored out of direct sunlight and will last longer if kept away from extreme heat. Ideally keep it under 25 degrees C (77 degrees F).
I have felt confident in using Vitaklenz for my family since I came across it, however I have recently purchased a new bottle and have found the capsules are smaller. The bottle still states that the values contained in the capsules contain the same amounts as the old. This doesn't seem possible to me as the new capsules now hold less powder. This has eroded my faith in this product and your brand ... please let me know if this should not be so.

Vitaklenz has been made under contract for us by a pharmaceutical and natural medicines specialist since 2003, and throughout all of that time we have used herbal extracts. This means that the raw materials used in the capsules and listed on the label have been concentrated in various ratios so as to be able to fit into the capsules. If you add up the 'equivalent to' weights on the label then you get precisely 1,620mg, far more than could ever fit into the 00-size capsules we have used for more than 20 years (rather they would need a size probably more akin to a horse tablet if used unconcentrated). Using concentrated herbal powders (e.g. 4:1, 7:1, 10:1 ratios, etc.) has allowed us over these years to reduce the bulk of the powder in the formula, deliver the dosage in a size convenient for human consumption, and not compromise on the full effectiveness of the herbs in the formula.
In 2024 we took a big step to shift manufacturing of both Vitaklenz and Vitaklenz for Kidz to a new facility. This allowed us to take a fresh approach to both products, with a resultant adjustment to the taste of Vitaklenz for Kidz (while removing all sugar - long overdue with an amazing result), and being now able to work with higher concentrations of some of the previously bulky raw materials in Vitaklenz capsules (i.e. 20:1, etc.). This has significantly reduced the amount of physical powder in the Vitaklenz capsules while still delivering the same end result: a highly concentrated, more potent product. The formula has stayed exactly the same. It is just now achieved with a more concentrated powder in the capsules.
Reducing the bulk of the raw materials in Vitaklenz in this way has also allowed us to now move down to a smaller capsule size which was the brief we gave to our new formulators. We have always been concerned with capsule size and ease of swallowing, something of real impact to practitioners and parents administering this product to children, those with sensory issues (ASD, etc.), and others simply with a heightened gag reflex.
We realise perception is important, but please be reassured that the formula of Vitaklenz has not been changed. We have just moved over to more concentrated herbs to create a better product. The use of concentrated herbal extracts has always been our practice right through the life of this product since 2003, we have adjusted these extracts several times over the years anyway with no impact on the effectiveness of the formula, and the use of concentrated herbs is normal industry practice, as regulated by strict governmental supervision here in Australia which is recognised as world’s best practice.
Please could you also confirm the efficacy of the tablets and any complications?

Vitaklenz is a highly effective, broad-spectrum treatment for unhealthy targeted organisms with a gentle footprint during treatment. 'Die-off' does typically occur during days 4-10 (but can be outside of this range as well depending on the type of organisms being cleared and the level of the infection), but is usually just nuisance value due to the inclusion of liver-stimulating elements in the formula.
Die-off effects are attributed to dying unhealthy organisms releasing toxins into the bloodstream during their death process, and can include such diverse experiences such as nausea, diarrhoea or constipation, headaches, muscle aches or tingling, fatigue and a jet lag-type of feeling (mental confusion, etc). These are the first sign that the treatment is working and usually only last for a day or two and will not generally stop you from functioning.
There is also a standard warning about using Vitaklenz while pregnant or breastfeeding. If this is a concern for you then please get in touch with a qualified natural health practitioner for more specific suggestions.
We always recommend that you include Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost into a Vitaklenz treatment. Taking these two products concurrently will increase the effectiveness of the cleanse, help the body to clear toxins efficiently during die-off, and boost your overall vitality.
Is Vitaklenz is safe to take while on blood pressure tablets and gout prevention tablets?

The action of Vitaklenz is completely independent of the pharmaceuticals you mention, and as such there has been no contraindication issued for the use of Vitaklenz with these drugs.
Nevertheless, it is always wise to be cautious, particularly when blood-management drugs are involved (e.g. blood pressure or cholesterol meds), and so we encourage you to proceed with using these treatments under the care of a natural health practitioner. Naturopaths are a great option as they are usually trained in herb/drug interactions.
Is Vitaklenz safe to use when pregnant?

The human body is truly remarkable. It suppresses its own defence mechanisms against parasitic invaders during pregnancy, thereby ensuring that any unborn baby is not targeted and rejected by the body as a harmful organism. Parasites are opportunistic and take advantage of this immune suppression to infest the system.
We cannot recommend Vitaklenz be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Effective treatments all involve a prolonged course (usually about 4 weeks) to break the life-cycle of the targeted organisms. As such, Vitaklenz carries the standard warnings about not using while pregnant which was recently strengthened to also include 'likely to become pregnant' due to a directive from the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration owing to the presence of Artemisia annua.
Nevertheless, there are steps that can be taken to safely combat unhealthy organisms during these times. Some of these suggestions do involve the use of Vitaklenz.
Opening the capsules and mixing the ingredients of Vitaklenz with a non-active topical cream allows it to be topically applied to areas around the anus and vulva. The presence of a Vitaklenz application in these areas will discourage the particular organisms that use this route of reproduction from laying eggs there, thus interrupting their breeding cycle. At the same time an oral administration of probiotics (beneficial bacteria) can be taken to help fight off existing infestations. This method can keep unhealthy organisms at bay until a more comprehensive treatment can be accomplished following pregnancy and lactating.
Will A Reduced Dosage Work?

Vitaklenz contains key elements that have been traditionally used to kill opportunistic and other unhealthy organisms. This formula has been specifically engineered to work at the recommended dosage, i.e. 1 capsule @ 3 times per day continuously for 30 days (1 bottle = 1 month supply).
The length of continuous treatment is critical to the success of Vitaklenz. A 30-day treatment effectively breaks the organism’s life-cycle. Some life-forms leave the human body at certain life-cycle stages. A one-month continuous treatment ensures that organisms re-entering the system during this period are also eliminated. Hence modifying the dosage of Vitaklenz or interrupting the treatment with shorter-length courses will lower the effectiveness of this product.
Is Vitaklenz unsuitable if planning pregnancy in 3 months time?

No. We do not recommend taking Vitkalenz while pregnant or if likely to become pregnant.
Is Vitaklenz kosher?

Vitaklenz is not certified Kosher. It once was, but the process was difficult and costly to arrange each and every year that we eventually gave up. The fact that it once was certified Kosher by a Hassidic Rabbi does carry some weight with some people, though.
On the other hand, Vitaklenz Recharge is certified Kosher, but this is a process performed yearly by Kosher Australia and not by the Kashrut Authority which uses a stricter application of the rules.
What are your thoughts on using Vitaklenz as a dog dewormer?

The official answer is that Vitaklenz cannot be used for dogs as it is formulated for human use only. Now that that has been said, we are aware of a number of practitioners using Vitaklenz for dogs, cats and other animals. While we can’t guide you on the dosage as our experience centres on human use (and dogs vary greatly in size), it does seem that many employ a pro rata reduction in dosing based on weight ratios. Duration of the treatment is the same as human use and will depend on what you want to achieve - 5 to 6 days to kill off the most common […..] and a full 30 days to treat lifecycle.

How long is recommended on Vitaklenz for Kidz tablets?
If you’ve never done a treatment of this type before, or if you have specific symptoms that you are trying to address, then we recommend a full 60-day treatment in conjunction with Sea Minerals Supa Boost. This is our most comprehensive protocol. Otherwise, if you are doing a maintenance or 'just-in-case' treatment, then 30 days should be fine.
The label says to use Vitaklenz for Kidz over a period of 4-7 days. This seems really short.
Actually, the label instructs use over a 30-day period for best results. Vitaklenz for Kidz can be used for 4-7 days to eliminate adult organisms (such as common pharmaceutical preparations), or for a full 30 days to break the full lifecycle (larvae and eggs as well).
Do my children need to change their diet when using Vitaklenz for Kidz?

No. The formula of Vitaklenz for Kidz is complete enough to work independent of diet considerations. Some manufacturers provide a long list of dietary restrictions to accompany their ‘anti-parasitic’ products. These are needed to starve the unhealthy organisms, making them more susceptible to their formulas. Vitaklenz products use a completely different approach.
Is the most effective way to treat [....] in my children is to take the tablets for 30 days? Are there side effects in taking them for this long?
30-days is really the optimum period to take Vitaklenz for Kidz for to ensure elimination of organism lifecycle (eggs, larvae and adult). There are no consequences for taking the product for 30 days (or even longer if recommended by your health professional), and no side-effects should be experienced beyond typical “die-off” experiences which indicate the treatment is working (e.g. mild headaches, nausea, constipation/diarrhoea, general unwell feeling).
Has the 30-day length of time for taking Vitaklenz for Kidz been tested as safe in children? This treatment length makes sense because of the egg cycle, but I want to make sure it won’t be too much for them over 30 days.
The herbs in Vitaklenz for Kidz are well credentialed and have a history spanning thousands of years of use for treating parasites. Nevertheless, we use the synergy of the formula to reduce the more toxic herbs (such as Artemisia annua, or wormwood) to a bare minimum as we always like to err on the side of caution.
Vitaklenz for Kidz has been sold since 2006 and many (many) tens of thousands of children have been safely treated with this formula in every part of the world since then. The best trial of any product is history of actual use in everyday settings.
Would this be effective for a child’s positive stool test?
Certainly, depending on what the results were from the stool test.
Will there be visible organisms in the toilet?
Sometimes there is evidence of success visible in the toilet, and sometimes there is not. This depends on the type of organisms, their load (numbers) and your child’s individual constitution.
Do you recommend that children take Vitaklenz for Kidz for as long as adults use Vitaklenz?
We recommend all people do a minimum treatment of 30 days on Vitaklenz for Kidz, regardless of the age. This is dependent on the length of the organism lifecycles being addressed. 60 days is recommended when symptoms are present (i.e. a more significant infection) or when they haven’t done an anti-parasitic cleanse for many years prior.
Should children use Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost together with Vitaklenz for Kidz as with adult Vitaklenz?
Yes, you should ideally use Vitaklenz for Kids with Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost. The ocean-derived sea minerals will improve the absorption of the herbs in Vitaklenz for Kidz, and the herbs in the Supa Boost version will work around the Vitaklenz herbs to fill in any gaps. This is really important when using Vitaklenz for Kidz as this is a reduced formula and not as broad-acting as Vitaklenz capsules.
Does this only work if the child follows a special diet while taking this supplement?

No. There are no dietary recommendations needed for Vitaklenz for Kidz to work. Just a normal, healthy diet will suffice. However, in more severe cases we always recommend combining this product with Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost.
Should my child stop taking his daily multivitamins and probiotics while taking Vitaklenz for Kidz?
No, your child does not have to stop taking any other treatments while on Vitaklenz for Kidz, including probiotics like Vitaklenz Recharge.
Should I repeat treatments every 3, 6 or 12 months?
How long before these organisms return? Impossible to answer as this depends on many variables, including location, diet, culture, state of individual health, heredity, etc. Often repeating once or twice a year is all that is needed to keep the most common organisms down (to levels where the immune system can do its job and keep the parasites at bay), but many parents are repeating a 'weed' phase at the start of each school term.
The value of 'seeding' and 'feeding' in the meantime cannot be understated. This means good nutrition, vitamins, the right minerals in balance and fermented foods (for probiotic intake). We have our boxed kit Genesis Wellness 30 Day Program Seed & Feed to cover these bases.
What happens if I forget to take a scheduled dose throughout the day?
Vitkalenz products are very flexible. If you forget to take them on one occasion throughout the day, then you can double up on the next occasion. This is great for children attending school – if they forget to take their dose at lunchtime then they can take it when they get home from school, or just before dinner time, and then again just prior to going to bed.
Can I take Vitaklenz for Kidz without food?
Vitaklenz for Kidz can be taken both with and without food. Vitaklenz for Kidz does work a little better if taken 20-30 minutes prior to a meal, but if you forget or your routine doesn’t allow, then take together whenever convenient. It will still work.
From what age Vitaklenz for kids is suitable?
The label says from the age of 2, but in reality we are aware of many practitioners over many years that have successfully and safely used this product with children much younger at reduced dosages. Obviously if the children can’t chew then the tablets need to be crushed.
My child is taking 4 Vitaklenz for Kidz tablets per day. If he does that for 30 days there will be 20 tablets let over in the second bottle. Would it be safe for him to just continue until the second bottle is empty?
There is absolutely not a problem in your son extending his treatment out to 40 days. Many practitioners recommend extended courses of Vitaklenz and Vitaklenz for Kidz for 60, 90 or even (rarely) 120 days continuous use before taking a break.
Just for next time, if your son is over 12 it's probably best if he can move over to the adult formula Vitaklenz. In fact, if he can swallow capsules then he could move onto this product at a reduced dosage even at a younger age. It is more broad-acting.
Is it safe for children to double dose with Vitaklenz for Kidz?
Vitaklenz for Kidz are chewable hard tablets. Yes, you can double dose if you feel, as the practitioner, that this is warranted. Dosages on the label are a starting guide, and we are very conservative in what we say there. Vary the dose up and down throughout the treatment as you feel is needed and monitor effects (e.g. die-off effects).
I have recently purchased your Vita Klenz for kids for my children (early 2024). The kids complained about the taste, so I tried them and found the tablets are so bitter!
Thanks for your candid feedback on our product. It is disappointing that you were unable to use the product due to its taste, and we understand that this is a problem for some families that try this product.
Of course, Vitaklenz for Kidz is a completely natural product and so we are limited as to how much we can mask the natural bitterness of the herbs in the formula. The herbs that treat such conditions are all classified as “bitters”, including some of the worst tasting herbs in the herbal repertoire.
Nevertheless, we are always looking to enhance our product without it losing its effectiveness, and we have now developed a new batch of Vitaklenz for Kidz with a reworked taste profile. Glucose has been eliminated in favour of thaumatin, a natural and safe sweetener & flavour enhancer, and a different balance of natural flavours has all but eliminated the bitter aftertaste. Taste tests on this new flavour have been overwhelmingly positive. The sourness is still there, but the real bitterness has been removed.
If you’d like to pass on your street address details, we would be pleased to replace your bottle(s) of Vitaklenz for Kidz with this new-tasting batch to see if it is more acceptable to your children.
Follow up: The second bottle was much preferred by my son.
We used Vitaklenz for Kidz for one month and we’ve got pinworms again 3 months later. Is it safe for my 2-year old to take Vitaklenz for Kidz again for one month? Can I take the adult Vitaklenz if I’m breastfeeding once a day?
Yes, it is safe for your 2-year old to do another course of Vitaklenz for Kidz. We rely on the synergy of the herbs in the formula to compound each other’s strength, and as such we can keep the more toxic herbs like wormwood down to a bare minimum (14mg per tablet).
While we cannot recommend you use Vitaklenz products while breastfeeding, we do note that many practitioners have use reduced dosages for lactating mums while breastfeeding quite successfully, particularly if their children are older (e.g. around 2). If you choose to do so then please consult with a healthcare professional.
My child has just eaten half a bottle of Vitaklenz for Kidz all at once. Should I be concerned?
No. This has come up a few times over the years, and there has never been a serious incident from a child eating a large number of Vitaklenz for Kidz. Apart from a slight belly ache or perhaps some diarrhoea which will self-resolve in a few hours, there should be no other undue effects. Just make sure they drink lots of water and keep an eye on them. If you remain concerned it is always wise to visit a medical establishment that can monitor them for individual reactions.
Do you recommend that children take Vitaklenz for Kidz for as long as adults take Vitaklenz?
We recommend all people do a minimum treatment of 30 days on Vitaklenz or Vitaklenz for Kidz, regardless of the age. This is dependent on the length of the organism lifecycles being addressed. 60 days is recommended when symptoms are present (i.e. a more significant infection) or when they haven’t done an anti-parasitic cleanse for many years prior.
Is Vitaklenz for Kidz kosher?
Vitaklenz is not certified Kosher. It once was, but the process was so difficult and costly to arrange every year that we eventually gave up.

Vitaklenz Recharge

Vitaklenz Recharge Serving Size & Suggestions
Have as much or as little as you like. There is no right or wrong way to take this product, whatever fits your diet and lifestyle. We suggest a daily serving size of between half and one teaspoon (2.5 to 5 grams). Bake it in your favourite bread recipe, added in to a fruit smoothie or just mixed with juice, the possibilities are endless. Vitaklenz Recharge has a pleasant “tangy” taste, very unlike other probiotic supplements known for their poor taste.
Can Vitaklenz Recharge be taken safely long term?
Yes. Vitaklenz Recharge can be taken every day for the rest of your life. We sell Vitaklenz Recharge together with Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost in a boxed kit for this reason:
https://www.genesishealthproducts.shop/genesis-wellness-program
How Do I Store Vitaklenz Recharge?
Vitaklenz Recharge is shelf-stable and actually improves with age when stored in the right conditions. Keep out of direct sunlight and extreme heat & cold (i.e. in a pantry or on a store shelf), ideally under 25°C (77°F). After opening, Vitaklenz Recharge should be refrigerated.
Is Vitaklenz Recharge Gluten Free?
Vitaklenz Recharge is made from grains and whole foods that (potentially) contain gluten and lectins, but as this is a 100% fermented food product these proteins are eliminated out of the medium during the process. Gluten and lectins are essentially pre-digested by the bacteria as part of the fermentation stage, breaking them down to their enzyme components. For this reason, we have a number of practitioners who have used Recharge over the years as a way of safely introducing oats to their celiac clients.
Vitaklenz Recharge has fermented grain ... I am gluten intolerant?
There is no gluten in Vitaklenz Recharge. It has been fermented out. Fermentation is the process whereby the bacteria pre-digest the proteins present, including any residual gluten that may be there at the start. We can’t say “gluten-free” on the label due to the ingredients list, but there is none left in the finished product. We have had numerous practitioners specifically recommend Vitaklenz Recharge to their celiac clients over the last 20 years for this reason, and actually I am also personally gluten-intolerant myself but freely use Vitaklenz Recharge sometimes more than once per day.
So, is Vitaklenz Recharge ok for a coeliac client?
While we can’t state that Vitaklenz Recharge is gluten-free because of the wholefoods it is made from, all of the gluten has been digested out of the product through the fermentation process when it is manufactured.
Essentially yes, it is OK and we have never had a complaint when practitioners have proceeded with coeliacs. But (depending on the seriousness of the insensitivity) always proceed with caution.
Is Vitaklenz Recharge Lactose Free?
Yes.
Is Vitaklenz Recharge Certified Organic?
Yes. The only ingredients that are not certified organic are rice bran and turmeric. We are constantly on the lookout for certified ingredients that need our criteria in the quantities we require, and are closing the gaps. The certified content is a large enough proportion of the finished product that allows us to carry the organic certification logo.
I already take a broad spectrum probiotic regularly and am looking at replacing it with Vitaklenz Recharge because I am so impressed with Vitaklenz. However, I cannot find exactly which strains are in it and how many billion CFU for each strain. I would like this information to help me decide if I am going to purchase the product.
It is important to remember that Vitaklenz Recharge is a naturally-fermented wholefood supplement which distinguishes it from probiotics that are made in a laboratory. While next generation probiotics are able to guarantee astronomical numbers on their organism counts that look good on a label, these bacterial agents, having been removed from a natural environment, are bottled while living but in the process of dying. For this reason, most manufactured probiotics are doused in liquid-nitrogen during bottling to put the bacterial lifeforms into a state of suspended animation and slow down the dying process.
On the other hand, Vitaklenz Recharge is made in a natural process as a super-concentrated food in the same way that probiotics have been cultured for millennia. While the initial counts are more modest, these are all thriving colonies that continue to improve and proliferate inside the bottle following packaging. Some years ago, we tested a batch of Vitaklenz Recharge one year after manufacture (i.e. half way through its lifecycle) and the number of beneficial bacteria had grown by 6-fold. For this reason, we regard the best before date as the ‘ripening’ date of the product, when it is at its peak.
As an example, a current batch of Vitaklenz Recharge tested at 280 billion cfu’s/gram when it was freshly produced.
Vitkalenz Recharge contains fermented certified organic oats, certified organic spirulina, rice bran, certified organic malt, certified organic barley, certified organic adzuki beans, certified organic almonds, certified organic molasses, certified organic alfalfa grass, certified organic barley grass, certified organic oat grass, certified organic pepitas, certified organic sunflower kernels, turmeric, certified organic chlorella, and certified organic fresh ginger.
Fourteen probiotics are found in Vitaklenz Recharge, including Lactobacillus acidophilus, L. delbreukii, L. caseii, L. bulgaricus, L. causasicus, L. fermenti, L. plantarium, L. brevis, L. helveticus, L. leichmanni, L. lactis, Bifidabacterium bifidum, Saccharomyces boulardii, and Sacchormyces cerevisiae.
How many billion strains are in Vitaklenz Recharge so I can tell my clients?
This question asked by your clients probably illustrate the difference in our thinking with respects to probiotics. Vitaklenz Recharge has been around for nearly 20 years now, and when it was first manufactured it was really breaking new ground in our understanding of what probiotics were and should be, which is essentially getting back and resembling nature as close as possible and taking a lesson from how these agents have been traditionally cultured for thousands of years.
In developing Vitaklenz Recharge, we have taken a leaf out of the book of traditional communities around the world. These resourceful folk have fermented their food for millennia to enable probiotic content in their foodstuffs to exponentially grow. Our view is that you can’t beat nature, and probiotics, as living organisms, don’t take kindly to hoppers, driers, centrifuges, pelletizers, etc. Manufacturers that use these industrial processes end up with 'quality assured' probiotic products that boast billions or trillions of individual bacteria counts to impress consumers, but these counts include both dead and living bacteria, and even the viable agents are delivered into the gut while in the state of dying. All probiotics made in this way are doused with liquid nitrogen during packaging to slow down their death rate, hardly a natural or beneficial process.
On the other hand, next generation naturally fermented food-based probiotics, such as Vitaklenz Recharge, deliver lower counts (we are typically in the hundreds of millions of colony-forming units per gram, not individual bacteria counts), but the bacteria are thriving while inside the bottle and continue using to grow in numbers. One batch we tested grew by at least 6-fold within the first 12 months. This is typical of our process, and ensures bacteria are delivered into the system while alive and thriving, which makes the difference.
For your information though, the current batch of Vitaklenz Recharge that we are using as we write this response tested at 280 billion cfu’s/gram when it was freshly produced.
Vitaklenz Recharge Serving Size & Suggestions
Have as much or as little as you like. There is no right or wrong way to take this product, whatever fits your diet and lifestyle. We suggest a daily serving size of one teaspoon (5 grams). Bake it in your favourite bread recipe, added in to a fruit smoothie or just mixed with juice, the possibilities are endless. Vitaklenz Recharge has a pleasant “tangy” taste, very unlike other probiotic supplements known for their poor taste.
Can Children Take Vitaklenz Recharge?
Yes. Vitaklenz Recharge is a natural food and is safe even for babies.
What is the best dose of Vitaklenz Recharge probiotic for young children around age 5?
Vitaklenz Recharge is OK from about the age of 18 months when it is believed that lactobacillus strains start to naturally colonise the gut. Start off with say 1/4 teaspoon and monitor how the child handles it. Overdosing on Recharge is like overdosing on rich food, so if there is some gastric upset then back off, but this never really happens in our experience. How much Recharge is enough for a child? That’s the same question as how much yoghurt is appropriate for a child - this is concentrated fermented food.
Can Recharge Be Taken By Pregnant/Lactating Mums?
Yes.

Is Vitaklenz Recharge kosher?
Yes. Vitaklenz Recharge is certified Kosher by Kosher Australia.

Genesis Sea Minerals

Where to Genesis Sea Minerals come from?
Genesis Sea Minerals are harvested as a byproduct of salt production along the western coast of South Australia (Southern Ocean). Three years of solar evaporation triggers ionic bonding which results in the sodium and chloride in ocean water crystallising into common or table salt. After the salt is harvested for food purposes, we take the very dense liquid left behind containing all of the other minerals that haven’t crystallised with the salt. The result is a very concentrated, desalinated mineral liquid that can be used for consumption on its own or to preserve foods and unstable herbs while also assisting bioavailability (absorption rate) when taken. Every mineral is available within ocean-derived sea minerals in the right proportion for the body’s requirements, and in the correct form (ions).
Have Genesis Sea Minerals been processed in any way after harvesting, e.g. concentrated or evaporated or heated or other? Other than the stated herbal additives has anything else been added? Stabilizers etc.
Our sea minerals are ocean-derived from the Southern Ocean. This product is not sea water. The sea minerals are harvested as a by-product of salt production.
Ocean water is blocked off for a period of 3 years whereby natural solar evaporation crystallises the sodium and chlorine content into sodium chloride which is then collected and removed and sold as common salt (including for edible purposes). This is the same process that has been done to produce salt for millennia. The dense liquid left behind is then harvested, cleaned, checked for contaminates and then bottled as Genesis Ionic Ocean-Derived Sea Minerals, which is of course naturally sodium-reduced (in the salt production process). There are no additional processes applied.
Genesis ionic Sea Minerals are naturally concentrated by solar evaporation. It is not heated artificially, nor are any stabilisers or preservatives added (they don’t need to be as concentrated ocean minerals are natural preservatives in their own right). Also, the herbs used in our herbal combinations are grown on an organic farm for us (with the exception of hawthorn which will not grow in our local climate), cold-pressed or cut, and then immediately placed in concentrated sea minerals to ensure no properties are lost through oxidisation after harvest.
How do ocean-derived sea minerals differ from minerals harvested from inland salt lakes (e.g. Great Salt Lake, Dead Sea, etc.)?
Inland bodies of water with no natural outflow exist around the world and are often used as sources of salt and other mineral production. Examples of these include the Great Salt Lake in Utah, the Dead Sea in Israel/Jordan, alpine lakes in Europe, and Lake Deborah in Western Australia. These locations are perfectly suited to salt production as river flows carry ionic minerals leached from soils situated upstream into final catchment areas, and solar evaporation triggers the ionic bonding of sodium, chloride and other minerals into what we know as crystalised salt. After harvesting salt for food and industrial purposes, a dense, mineral-rich liquid is left behind that is sometimes collected and used as a mineral supplement for humans and animals. These ‘sea’ mineral supplements are profoundly different from ocean-derived sea minerals, though. How so?
Inland lakes and ‘seas’ are fed from catchment areas that are infinitesimal in size in comparison to the world’s oceans (which are in fact a single body of water). What is in the soil ends up in the water as run-off weathers the earth’s surface and collects mineral content along the way, and inland bodies of water thus end up with mineral compositions in accord with a unique concentration of local elements found in soil in the immediate vicinity. These can be out of balance with the body’s requirements, with higher than ideal concentrations of essential but trace elements present (such as aluminium) as a consequence.
Alternatively, the earth’s oceanic system is fed from a catchment area that is almost all of the planet’s surface (excluding those localised areas feeding into inland lakes/seas), resulting in a more complete mineral composition that is perfectly balanced to the body’s requirements. One body of science tells us that the chemistry of ocean minerals is 98% similar to that of human plasma. This ideal formula is unique to ionic sea minerals harvested from the ocean, and it not achievable from inland bodies of water.
Do Sea Minerals contain electrolytes?

Yes, and no. Strictly speaking, ocean-derived sea minerals are ionic. Often the terms electrolyte and ion are used interchangeably, but electrolytes are actually compounds (salts) that produce ions when they are digested. Electrolytes are important for this very reason: they produce ions. But it is the ions that the body needs, and these are what are found naturally in ocean-derived Genesis Sea Minerals. By using Genesis Sea Minerals you are actually skipping a step and allowing your body to absorb minerals in the actual form that it needs. Read more on this here:
https://www.genesishealthproducts.com/electrolytes-vs-ions
Are ocean-derived Sea Minerals better than other mineral supplements?

Yes. We hate to sound arrogant, but ocean-derived Genesis Sea Minerals are the finest source of minerals on the planet. This is for two main reasons:

-
Sea Minerals are ionic. An ion is simply a charged atom. When you take ocean-derived Sea Minerals you are consuming atoms and not compounds. For example, the magnesium in ocean-derived sea minerals is not magnesium chloride or magnesium citrate. It is just magnesium. Some mineral compounds do absorb better than others, but ions absorb BEST. Ions are also charged. This means they carry other nutrients into and throughout the system, and they absorb rapidly and in greater proportion than any other mineral supplements, including colloids.
-
Ocean-derived sea minerals are exactly the right formula. Ocean-derived sea minerals theoretically contain every element on the periodic table. This incredibly complex formula is a staggering 98% similar to the chemistry of human plasma according to one body of science. Every mineral and trace element exists in ocean, and in the right combination.
How does Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost compare to Genesis Sea Minerals Plain. I have been recommending the Supa Boost because of a conversation I had with a practitioner, but I'm not sure about the difference.
Genesis Sea Minerals (Plain) is just the ocean-derived sea mineral base that runs through the entire liquid mineral range here at Genesis with nothing added.
Sea Minerals Supa Boost contains a blend of unstable but highly prized herbs that are harvested and instantly put into the concentrated mineral base solution to preserve their potency. These herbs are reputed to have specific protective properties. These herbs, along with ocean-derived sea minerals, work very well (as Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost) to augment the action of Vitaklenz and Vitaklenz for Kidz.
Please clarify the point of difference for the Genesis Sea Minerals with Stinging Nettle and the rest of the liquid sea mineral range? I understand the benefits of stinging nettle in general, but how can I promote Genesis Sea Minerals with Stinging Nettle specifically?
There are 4 varieties in the Genesis Sea Mineral range:

-
Plain. Concentrated, desalinated ocean water. Used for hydration and remineralising.
-
Hawthorn. The above concentrated ocean-derived mineral base with added hawthorn. We make no therapeutic claims about this product, but hawthorn has been traditionally used over the centuries to support cardiovascular health. This is well established in scientific literature.
-
Stinging Nettle. Concentrated ocean-derived sea minerals (as in point 1) with added stinging nettle. As with the hawthorn version, we make no therapeutic claims about this product but can note that stinging nettle has been traditionally used a blood cleanser and to boost the glandular system with a resultant balancing of some hormones.
-
Supa Boost. Concentrated ocean-derived sea minerals (as in point 1) with added unripe carica papaya, nasturtium, Spanish thyme and sheep sorrel. Again, we cannot publish any therapeutic claims, but this product is the one used in conjunction with Vitaklenz and Vitaklenz Recharge in both stages of our Weed/Seed protocol. Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost is unparalleled in supporting a protective action against a wide range of threats to health.
Do Genesis Sea Minerals have a good serving of magnesium? It has been suggested to me to take magnesium and I would prefer a non-synthetic option.
There is quite a large quantity of magnesium in ocean minerals. Nevertheless, everyone is magnesium deficient to a different degree and adding another magnesium supplement to your daily routine is sometimes beneficial. If you choose to do this then you can take your other mineral supplement at the same time as ocean-derived sea minerals - they will increase the absorption rate of whatever else you are taking significantly. (For this reason, take them ocean-derived sea minerals away from pharmaceutical drugs.)
Can you list all the ingredients of the ionic Genesis Sea Minerals?
There is only one ingredient in Genesis Sea Minerals Plain: concentrated desalinised ocean water. We don’t interfere with the natural formula at all, except in the case of the herbals where we simply add extracts from freshly grown herbs from our organic farm here in SE Queensland (Australia).
There is a table showing a typical analysis of sea minerals at the following link (note: the elements on this table are natural constituents and not ingredients). Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the ‘Typical Analysis Chart’:
https://www.genesishealthproducts.com/sea-minerals
Can you please confirm that the Supa Boost is ½ teaspoon 2-3 times a day after food? I know you said to take it quickly but I assume putting it onto a teaspoon and into water is the best way to get the dosage correct and still to take it quickly?
Yes that is the way to take it, although it can also be taken as 1 full teaspoon just once per day for convenience as well. Juice works best as this product has a very challenging taste. Vegetable juice is fine as well, but water also works if you’re brave! :)
Can Vitaklenz and Genesis Sea Minerals be taken at the same time or is it better for them to be taken separately?
You take these two products concurrently, but Vitaklenz does work best before meals and Sea Minerals Supa Boost works best with or after meals.
How do you take the sea mineral liquid? It says 2ml but there’s no dropper for it.
The daily dosage of Genesis Sea Minerals is generally 1 teaspoon per day which equates to about 5ml for those of us in metric lands. This single teaspoon of sea minerals is best taken spread out throughout the day, hence our recommendation of about 1/3 of a teaspoon (approx. 2ml) taken 3 times throughout the day.
Of course, if you choose to take your sea minerals all at once for convenience then that is fine as well - in that case it would be just one teaspoon. A capful of Genesis Sea Minerals from our distinctive blue bottles will approximate a teaspoon quantity as well.
Don’t forget to dilute the sea minerals due to their concentration. This is really important to help the stomach assimilate the mineral-rich formula. Such intensely concentrated minerals can also inflame the stomach lining if taken undiluted.
Do Sea Minerals taste really bad?

Yes, we admit the taste is somewhat confronting. Expect a bitter, intensely salty taste. Taste can be managed really easily, though:
-
Genesis Sea Minerals Plain can be diluted into a water bottle and gradually sipped throughout the day. When you get the concentration right (sea minerals vs water) according to your own body’s requirements the water will actually taste sweet!
-
Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost/Hawthorn/Stinging Nettle are ideally taken immediately after dilution to avoid the herbs preserved in the concentrated minerals degrading. Method: place your dose of these Genesis Sea Minerals into a mouthful of juice, swallow quickly in one gulp, then follow with a glass of water. If you hold your breath throughout this quick process we guarantee you won’t taste the minerals at all!
How much water do we add with 2ml of sea minerals? Is a 1/2 glass of water too much?
Just a mouthful of juice or water is all that is needed. Best to swallow in one gulp for taste reasons.
Do you have a recommendation for a good drink to mix with the Sea Minerals?
Anything with flavour can help disguise Genesis Sea Minerals, but we have found that juices with an acidic taste, like citrus or tomato, can mask the intense salty flavour. The important consideration is to just use a mouthful of juice in a glass (1 fl oz or 30 ml), put your mineral dose in (e.g. 1/3 tsp), swallow quickly and then follow with a glass of water. Once diluted Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost needs to be consumed immediately to preserve its potency, and swallowing it quickly in a single mouthful is more helpful than drinking down a whole glass of the mix.
Why do Sea Minerals taste salty?

Sea Minerals are sodium reduced to only about 3% of their original content. Other minerals have a salty taste though which accounts for the sensation.

What is the dose of Genesis Sea Minerals for children?
Ocean-derived sea minerals are safe even for newborn infants. Guiding dose for children is one drop per year of age, plus a drop (i.e. >12 months - 1 drop; 1-2 years = 2 drops, etc). This is a starting dosage and is normally varied up using bowel tolerance as a guide for when the body is fully mineralised (bowel tolerance is noted by a watery bowel motion). For a 5-year old give 6 drops per day in 30ml of juice and then gradually increase (by say 1 drop per week) until the child gets a watery bowel motion, then back off until bowel motions normalise. Keep the dosage at that level, but feel free to vary accordingly.
This process is the ideal way to determine how much of the ionic sea minerals a child requires at each stage of development.
Can Genesis Sea Minerals be taken safely long term?
Genesis Sea Minerals can be taken every day for the rest of your life. We supply Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost together with Vitaklenz Recharge in a boxed kit for this reason:
https://www.genesishealthproducts.shop/genesis-wellness-program
Is Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost safe to use when pregnant?
Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost has been used extensively by practitioners for pregnant mums right through pregnancy, but we always encourage caution and to proceed under the supervision of a qualified natural health practitioner.
Can I take Genesis Sea Minerals without food?
Sea Minerals can be taken both with and without food. In our experience, liquid sea minerals assimilate better if taken with or just after a meal, but if you forget or your routine doesn’t allow, then take together whenever convenient. It will still work.
Sea Minerals Supa Boost has added proprietary blend and I was just wondering if this blend will make this product unsuitable during fasting? Are there any calories in this product?
The various proprietary blends in our herbal Sea Minerals products run at less than 0.4% according to total volume and carry no calorie content at all. So you’re good to go!
Do Genesis Sea Minerals need to be refrigerated?
No, do not Genesis Sea Minerals in the refrigerator. If you do the ionic bonding process gets kick-started again and you will find tiny crystals forming in the bottom of your bottle. These are not toxic and do not render the product unhealthy or unsafe, but results in less dissolved minerals for your body to uptake from the liquid formula.
Do Genesis Sea Minerals have a ‘best before’ date?
Genesis Sea Minerals have historically not carried a best before date due to the nature of what they are - conceentrated ocean-derived sea minerals. Think of this in the same context as sea salt, which is completely stable and is used as a preservative for other things (and rarely carries a 'best before' date). Genesis Sea Minerals are a by-product of salt production - we take all of the other minerals, which also are preservatives, which haven’t crystallised with the sodium chloride (common salt) in salt ponds near the ocean.
Nevertheless, we do acknowledge that bureaucrats are trying to assert themselves in this field, and some jurisdictions are now requiring even salt to have a best before date (this defies all common sense). Genesis Sea Mineral products are now carrying best before dates to satisfy the authorities in some lands. Completely unnecessary, but the way of the world now.
How sensitive sea minerals are to heat? I have a client who left his bottle of Genesis Sea Minerals Plain in a hot car. He said the bottle was warm but not screaming hot. Also, how do all the supplements go with shipping in heatwaves?
Sea Minerals are impervious to heat. They are produced through 3 years of solar evaporation which can see some intensive temperatures on the salt pond surface. Not a problem at all. The bottles we use are the most inert packaging we can source, and in combination with ocean-derived sea minerals will not react.
Conversely, ocean-derived sea minerals actually don’t like cold: if they are kept in the fridge the ionic bonding phase can kick start and you get little crystals in the bottom of the bottle. This is not harmful, but results in less minerals available for the body.
I hate plastic. Why do you not package your sea minerals in glass bottles?
We’d love to be able to package our concentrated sea minerals in glass as well, but unfortunately glass does not tolerate concentrated ocean minerals well. Glass is a product of silicon derived from sand, itself an ocean-derived element, and will pit in the presence of very concentrated ocean minerals. And so, we’re stuck with PET packaging. Our experience with this product over many decades highlights the inert nature of this type of packaging in the presence of ocean minerals, though.
What would be the best sea mineral to help my 9-year old with constipation? Can I overdose him on the herbs if I choose to use Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost?
If you are just treating constipation then Genesis Sea Minerals Plain will be sufficient to get your 9-year old moving. While not considered a ‘laxative’, the naturally large content of ionic magnesium in ocean-derived sea minerals will help clear out the colon when given in sufficient quantity.
Start on a half teaspoon twice per day and see how that works. If the constipation persists then add an extra half teaspoon dose. You can keep increasing the dose every couple of days until a runny bowel motion is experienced.
You can’t overdose on ocean-derived sea minerals. When the body has taken enough ions (minerals) through the small intestines the receptors close off and expel the excess though into the colon. As ocean-derived sea minerals are loaded with magnesium, when the minerals reach the colon they create a laxative effect with results in a runny bowel motion. This is how it all works.
You can keep him on Genesis Sea Minerals Plain indefinitely and just adjust the dose according to bowel motions - too loose means back off the dose and constipation means they're not getting enough.
Of course, there are other benefits in using Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost as we have some very potent herbs included into the ocean-derived sea mineral base. Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost will work for constipation the same as plain sea minerals, but you get more benefits. It is not possible to overdose on the herbs in Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost as the bowel will respond to the high magnesium content long before too much of the herbs are absorbed.
Why are ocean-derived sea minerals so good?
Ocean-derived sea minerals are reportedly 98% similar chemically to human plasma, which is an incredible synergy (could this ever be a coincidence?). Accounting for most of the small difference between plasma and ocean minerals is a lower content of iron in the oceans, but a much higher concentration of magnesium than is found in our blood. What a gift for humankind: many/most people are magnesium deficient and can benefit greatly from this natural resource.
It is important to remember that all of the minerals found in ocean water, and hence in Genesis Sea Minerals, are ions (i.e. charged atoms). As such, any magnesium present in Genesis Sea Minerals is not magnesium chloride or magnesium citrate, etc. It is just magnesium (the element) as a charged atom. This results in much higher bioavailability in comparison to almost all other minerals that are delivered as compounds (electrolytes or salts). These compounds have to be processed by the body to turn them into ions, which is the form of minerals that our cells accept.
And so in summary, ocean-derived sea minerals are supplied in the right form (ions), and also the right formula. (It never ceases to amaze us that the earth’s circulatory system matches the human body’s circulatory system in such a complex and near identical manner!)
I am hoping to get all of my vitamins and minerals, such as magnesium, from food rather than synthetic supplements. I assume Genesis Sea Minerals contains magnesium, but would you know how much?
A typical analysis of the mineral constituents of sea minerals can be found at this webpage. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Typical Analysis Chart”.
https://www.genesishealthproducts.com/sea-minerals
Each 5ml serving of Genesis Sea Minerals (plain) contains 169mg of magnesium. Remember that this is not magnesium citrate or magnesium oxide, etc. It is ionic magnesium (just the element) which is the most bio-available of all mineral types.
There is a slight variance between our liquid sea mineral range in the magnesium content due to the different mg levels in the herbs added:
Supa Boost = 104mg per 5ml serving
Hawthorn = 160mg per 5ml serving
Stinging Nettle = 157mg per 5ml serving
The other thing to remember is that ions (such as found in Genesis Ocean-Derived Sea Minerals) are binders and carriers, and so they will boost the bio-availability of anything else. You can thus combine Genesis Sea Minerals with other mineral or vitamin supplements, like magnesium citrate etc., to improve the absorption rate of that other product.
With an identified magnesium deficiency, would you dose Genesis Sea Minerals the same or could you do 3ml twice daily to make it more manageable? And for the kids, would you reduce the dose from 2ml three times daily?
It is very difficult to manually manipulate dosages of ocean-derived sea minerals as once the body has had enough at that moment it will shut down the receptors along the intestinal wall and allow the surplus to pass through to the colon. Once there it liquifies the faecal mass around the inside of the colon and expels it as a watery bowel movement.
Taking ocean-derived sea minerals 3 times daily certainly delays this effect, so is a good idea for both children and adults alike. But you would likely regulate the dosage of Genesis Sea Minerals according to what is happening out the other (bowel) end!
If someone has high level of potassium and we want to increase other electrolytes and sodium, would Genesis Sea Minerals be suitable?
Potassium is a macro element in ocean-derived sea minerals, but as this is in the form of an ion then it tends to pass through if not needed by the body. For this reason, starting off high in potassium is unlikely to be a problem.
Ocean-derived sea minerals are unlikely to address sodium deficiency, though. The original levels of sodium in Genesis Sea Minerals is reduced down to about 3% of the original (admittedly high) levels as found in ocean water. You can use another sodium-rich mineral in conjunction with ocean-derived sea minerals though, as the ions will help carry it into the system more efficiently. Celtic Sea Salt is a great option and works in conjunction with Genesis Sea Minerals very well.
As for all of the other minerals, both macro and trace, the answer is yes. Genesis Sea Minerals are an excellent way to build up levels of these, bearing in mind that the formula of ocean-derived minerals is nearly identical to human plasma, so the minerals are perfectly balanced.
How do Genesis Sea Minerals compare to Amenas Sea Minerals ?

They are identical.

Between 1998 and 2025 Genesis had a label-charing agreement with Amenas Sea Minerals. During that time, Amenas grew the herbs that are used in the sea mineral range and the two brands were bottled out of the same drums. This started as an arrangement with our close friend Gerry Amena, and continued after his death in conjunction with Lesley Cocker, who also soon became a dear friend.

In December 2024 Genesis purchased Amenas Sea Minerals, and due to the cost of supplying identical products under different brands, took the difficult decision to wind up the Amenas brand and proceed just with Genesis-brand sea minerals from July 2025.

How do Genesis and Amenas sea minerals compare? Amenas Daily Boost is identical to Genesis Sea Minerals Plain, Amenas UltraBoost is the same as Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost, and the Stinging Nettle and Hawthorn varieties are identically identified.

For many years Genesis has also developed unique sea mineral cream formulas in conjunction with Amenas Sea Minerals, although we use a natural jojoba/coconut oil base tin these creams instead of the petroleum jelly base favoured by Amenas. How do these creams compare?

The targeted action of Amenas Sea Mineral Cream, Ultra Hydrating Cream and Nabolji Cream are all covered by Genesis Sea Mineral Nourishing Cream, while Amenas Sea Mineral Cream with Lawang Oil is now replaced by Genesis Jungle Balm Massage Cream (Jungle Balm = lawang oil).

Amenas Targeted Care Cream will continue to remain available from Genesis.

How do Ocean Trace Electrolytes differ from Genesis Sea Minerals? I’m looking at an effective way of supplementing iodine in particular.
Genesis Ionic Sea Minerals are concentrated liquids - that’s how we can deliver them as ions and also why we can use them to stabilise some very delicate herbs. This is also how ocean-derived sea minerals come to us, by the way - as a concentrated liquid.
Edge OceanTrace Electrolytes are produced from these same liquid ocean-derived sea minerals. It goes through an additional process to transform it into a powder (i.e. an electrolyte). What are the benefits of turning concentrated ionic minerals into a powdered electrolyte?
-
When we powder sea minerals they lose their intense briny, salty, bitter taste and become almost taste-neutral.
-
There’s a convenience factor as powders easier to store and travel with (e.g. much lighter).
-
Powdering sea minerals has opened up a whole new range with delicious flavoured and sweetened hydration beverages. These health drinks contain a perfectly balanced mineral composition and are conveniently packaged in stick sachets; ideal for service personnel, athletes, busy mothers or children who can take them to school.
What we can’t do with electrolyte powders, even ones this good, is include a herbal range. For example, Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost, which is commonly used in conjunction with Vitaklenz for our protocols in fighting off unhealthy organisms, contains unstable herbs known for their various actions. These won’t work in concert with powdered minerals.
Iodine does certainly exist in ocean-derived sea minerals, but only in a trace amount. It might be best to use another iodine supplement, but take it at the same time as Genesis Sea Minerals to improve its bioavailability.
Are Edge Electrolytes all sugar free?
No. There are 4 Edge Hydration Beverage products. Two are sweetened with cane sugar and two are sweetened with xylitol. All of them are flavoured with real fruit:
-
Edge Hydration Mix Double Lime (with cane sugar)
-
Edge Hydration Mix Blood Orange (with cane sugar)
-
Edge Hydration Mix XLT 99% Sugar FREE Double Lime (with xylitol), and
-
Edge Hydration Mix XLT 99% Sugar FREE Raspberry (with xylitol).
Other Edge Electrolyte products include:
-
Edge OceanTrace. This is just powdered plain sea minerals. No flavour, no sweetener and no carbohydrate of any kind.
-
Edge Athlete. Unflavoured, unsweetened powdered sea minerals, but with key macro minerals, all ocean-derived, added in for peak performance support. Each serve includes 440mg of Sodium, 375mg of potassium, 194mg of magnesium and 1,505mg of chloride.
What is the difference between black minerals and sea minerals? (Obviously one is from the ground and one is from the sea.) I have used and still use super greens and black minerals (with fulvic/humic) for the assistance of detox and feeding the cells.
Minerals with humic/fluvic acid are excellent for detoxing, and any ionic minerals, including those produced from land sources, will feed the cells.
Genesis Sea Minerals are a complete, balanced ionic mineral source harvested from the Southern Ocean, the purest reservoir of ocean water on earth. Theoretically they contain every mineral on the periodic table, and are reputed to be 98% similar chemically to human plasma. The almost identical association of the human body’s circulatory system with that of the planet’s circulatory system is profound. As such, the body recognises the formula and readily accepts it, with even very trace essential minerals present in their correct concentrations.
As these are highly concentrated minerals (harvested from salt ponds following 3 years of solar evaporation), they are excellent preservatives as well. We utilise an organic farm that grows certain unstable herbs for use within our Genesis Sea Mineral range. They harvest, cut or cold-press, and immerse the herbs into concentrated ocean-derived minerals instantly. As such we have not only Genesis Sea Mineral Plain as a stand-alone product, but also 3 herbal varieties that fit different purposes, i.e. Genesis Sea Minerals with Hawthorn, Genesis Sea Minerals with Stinging Nettle, and Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost (the most popular version that fits in with the focus of our Vitaklenz products). These formulas are unique to the Genesis Sea Mineral range.
Have you ever had anyone complain of the sea minerals giving them reflux due to it being too acidy?
No. Genesis Sea Minerals are not acidic but slightly alkaline (about pH8.2). Once ingested they continue to alkalise the body internally. (The chief way that nature alkalises water for instance is to add ionic minerals.) I would suggest there is something else going on here - perhaps a reaction to something being addressed by the ocean-derived sea minerals. Are they taking Vitaklenz at the same time?
Are Genesis Sea Minerals kosher?
No. Genesis Sea Minerals have never been certified Kosher. One may look at where they come from and the way they are dealt with as raw materials and wonder at the need for such a certification, but of course this stamp of approval is important to many people for religious reasons, which we do respect.

Genesis Sea Mineral Creams

The label instructions on your sea mineral creams say to apply a small amount only. What is a small amount? I want to use the sea mineral one on my itchy skin which is all over my body.
You can’t really use too much of Sea Mineral Nourishing Cream or Jungle Balm Massage Cream as they are formulated within a jojoba and coconut oil base which won’t tend to clog pores. As a rule, use sparingly then repeat when it soaks in and you still feel the need for moisturising. It’s all very vague we know, but this is essentially a gentle moisturiser that you can play around with and determine what feels right. As much as you can use is a good goal due to the healing elements included in the formula.
On the other hand, Targeted Care Cream is formulated into a Petroleum Jelly base which absorbs slower and hence tends to stay on the skin longer, so just use some common-sense caution in how much you apply. Some situations do dictate that retaining the cream on the surface of the skin is advantageous, but try and minimise residue.

Jungle Balm

I've purchased Jungle Balm and absolutely love it. Neither the label nor your website give the list of ingredients. Please advise the ingredients as I want to make sure what I'm putting on my body is natural.
Jungle Balm has one ingredient: lawang oil. This natural oil has been sustainably harvested by villagers in the Indonesian archipelago for over 400 years - we are glad you are getting good results out of it.
Every batch we receive is subjected to GC/MS testing to ensure it is authentic.
We have noticed that there is no best before date or batch number on the bottles which makes it hard to know how old the products are and how long they last.
Jungle Balm doesn’t expire. As a concentrated essential oil it retains its effectiveness over many decades, so you’re good to go with anything you may have.

Should I avoid applying Jungle Balm on broken skin?
No. You can apply Jingle Balm on abrasions and contusions (medicalspeak for cuts and scratches). In fact, it has similar properties to manuka honey when placed on these areas.
Can I use Jungle balm on sun damage lesions on the skin?
Mainly you’d use Sea Minerals Nourishing Cream on areas of general sun damage, but incorporate Jungle Balm if you feel extra help is needed.
How do I use Jungle Balm on problem areas of skin?
We’ve found over the years that a drop or two of Jungle Balm on a problem area of skin, followed by a tiny spot of Nourishing Cream, works quicker and more effectively.

CyberScan by Genesis

Can I reuse the foil that the eeCard was sent to me in?
Yes. We often reuse foil here as well. This cuts down on waste.
Does the remedy on the card only last for about 2 weeks and then fades?
Yes.
Is there anything else (apart from caffeine & drugs) that could interfere with the card such as smart watches?
Anything energetic could potentially interfere with the card, but we’ve noticed no trailing off in effectiveness since the advent of smart watches or 5G so presumably these are all good. There is a warning about not using homeopathy while using CyberScan, although we actually work with a homeopath that knows how to read the reports and work around what the eeCards are trying to achieve. So even that is possible.
Can anyone else handle the card?
Yes. It won’t do anything to them if they briefly handle the card, although we did have a child wearing the wrong eeCard for more than a week at one stage (their sibling’s) and they were exceptionally cranky and feeling off during that time. They were absorbing all of the wrong signatures.
Is it normal for all the symptoms that resolved to come back again after swapping to the second remedy card?
No, but this depends on factors outside of the CyberScan system. If someone has a constant factor in their life that makes them susceptible to a particular condition then it is feasible that the condition may return later, but for the time being if the signature has moved off and out then it has resolved.
Can I handle the hair of someone else to cut it and send it for a scan or can it only be handled by the person having the scan?
Always best not to touch it. We don’t here - it gets shaken straight out of the envelope and into a testing beaker for analysis on the machine. Touching it could contaminate it with foreign DNA which could skew the results.

Treating Parasites

What is in the Genesis 30 Day Wellness Program Seed & Feed?
The 30 Day Wellness Program Seed & Feed is a combination of 2 of our individual products - Vitaklenz Recharge (Pre/probiotic) and Sea Minerals Supa Boost. It is designed to be used during non-'weed' months. Every person, every day.
I got the Genesis 30 Day Wellness Program Seed & Feed. How best do I use it? Do we do a month of each on their own before moving onto the next product?
Here is the best way to use the products:

-
Month 1 use Vitaklenz together with Sea Minerals Supa Boost
-
Month 2 use Vitaklenz Recharge together with Sea Minerals Supa Boost, which is covered by the Genesis 30 Day Wellness Program Seed & Feed.

My children have symptoms of parasites (behavioural stuff, itchy bottoms, hungry ALL the time, craving sugar, etc). We have done the Vitaklenz and Genesis Supa Boost combination twice now and symptoms of worms have returned. Am I missing something, or are the products not strong enough to clear the organisms? Why am I not seeing worms in the toilet bowl like I see in facebook groups?
Thanks for your email. We are well aware of the really impressive accounts (and images) on social media and many of these are genuine experiences of parasites being eliminated (but probably not all). These are great promotions for various products and the anti-parasitic industry as a whole, but they do influence people’s expectations.
The boring reality is that most parasites are microscopic. This is one thing that we’ve been working to raise awareness on: worms are parasites but not all parasites are worms. In fact, only a relatively small proportion of parasitic organisms are helminths. This is often downplayed as many 'anti-parasitic' treatments are mainly laxatives or binders, and have little effect on organisms inhabiting other parts of the body outside of the digestive tract. This is where the non-worms are likely to be encountered, and these are not seen with the unaided eye when eliminated.
Interestingly a doctor we worked with over 20 years ago stated that the most common worms eliminated in his experience were tapeworms, although he claimed that they couldn’t commonly be seen with the naked eye. Interestingly, much is made of liver flukes, but relatively few of these, including other flukes as well, can be seen without magnification. So even at times worms can go unnoticed, and by far the vast majority of parasitic organisms encountered are single-celled (protozoa and bacteria).
So your experiences may not be so unusual after all (sorry to disappoint!). The main thing to look at with success of the treatment is overall health and cessation of symptoms. But then again, parasites do return (have you read the chapter on pinworms in The Inside Story on Gut Health yet?)
At times we do recommend people take oregano oil in conjunction with a Vitaklenz treatment. Other useful herbs are grapefruit seed extract and Mimosa pudica, but these are often for unusual organisms that might escape the broad net cast by the suggested protocol. Chiropractic adjustments can also be used to ensure the body’s healing pathways are working properly as well, and energetic treatments can supplement courses of herbs effectively, too. You can explore some of these options if you feel your treatment needs fine tuning.
I am doing the Genesis Weed, Seed & Feed protocol. Is it best to add Vitaklenz Recharge (seeding) after the 30 day weeding phase to avoid destroying the good bacteria? A nutritionist recommended taking Vitaklenz and Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost together, then afterwards take Vitaklenz Recharge probiotic (seed) but also continue with the Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost (feed).
Thanks for your question. Your nutritionist is spot on. It is best to think of the weed, seed & feed process as just 2 stages: weed (& feed), then seed (& feed). This is due to Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost (the ‘feed’) enhancing both the weed and seed steps. So based on the above, you would proceed as follows:

-
Vitaklenz (weed) together with Sea Minerals Supa Boost (feed) for 1 or 2 months, then
-
Vitalenz Recharge (seed) together with Sea Minerals Supa Boost (feed).

As the body’s requirements for probiotics and minerals is never ending, it is always best to think of 'seeding and feeding' as an ongoing daily protocol for the rest of your life.
You recommend using Vitaklenz/Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost for 2 months to break the 'organism’ lifecycle. Which organisms does this refer to and is it the same suggestion for Vitaklenz for kids?
Please accept our apologies for any confusion in using the Vitaklenz system for gut and other health. This is in no small way influenced by the fact that we cannot legally publish any claims about our products that include named conditions, and so we have to be very careful about what we put in writing. Nevertheless, I’m happy to provide you with some general comments which I’m sure will guide you.
Most commonly we look at a 30-day lifecycle for typical lifeforms. Extending any clearing treatment beyond this basic timeframe is essential to break lifecycle, and 30-days is regarded as a bare minimum.
Experience has shown us, though, that a 60-day treatment is more appropriate for conditions evidenced by presence of symptoms, or when a treatment has not been done before, or for many years. The added length of the treatment is useful as a 'deeper' cleanse to eliminate more deeply entrenched organisms. On the other hand, some conditions will most likely need a minimum 60-day length of treatment to ensure a proper re-set of the gut. For best results we also recommend using Vitaklenz together with Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost. Sometimes 1+1=10.
The above recommendations are identical if used in conjunction with Vitaklenz or Vitaklenz for Kidz.

Not sure if your company is aware, but the Weed, Seed, Feed protocol is very outdated & no longer recommended as a treatment protocol as it can have a detrimental effect on the microbiome.

We agree that many protocols existing under the generic term of “weed, seed & feed” vary from being useless in a treatment setting right through to having the potential to cause harm. Not all of these are tarred with the same brush though, and we thus believe that they shouldn’t all be summarily dismissed.
Here at Genesis we take the view that nothing is smarter than nature. Of course, we all have different view on life, our origins and how we fit into the universe, but our own decades of research has reinforced to us that there is an inherent intelligence in nature and that lessons can be learned from the many patterns found therein.
An example well illustrates our take on this. Some time ago I was addressing a group of natural practitioners at a conference in a major capital city and one of the delegates approached me prior to my presentation with the dismissive comment that, “I tried weed, seed, feed and it worked for a while, and then it stopped being effective.”
I knew what to ask next. “How long did you continue with the seed & feed phase?”
The answer was telling: “A few months.” This was expressed as a conviction that the ‘protocol’ had been given plenty of time to work.
The question really is, though: “When should we stop seeding and feeding our body?" (Think of this question in another way. “When should we stop giving our body proper nutrition?”) Of course, the answer is never. This basic fact underpins our concept of what ‘weed, seed & feed’ is: an ongoing wellness or lifestyle concept that characterises our daily diet until the day we die.
The Genesis Weed, Seed & Feed principle encourages folk to enrich their daily diets with fermented foods (the original source of probiotics our ancestors used for millennia), prebiotics, vitamins, living enzymes & a balance of ionic minerals, amongst other clean and beneficial sources of nutrition. This is seen as the simplest and most natural way of keeping their immune systems in peak condition, and should be an everyday part of their diet that never ends. This is interspersed periodically with a temporary ‘weeding’ phase, i.e. reducing parasitic and pathogenic organism numbers down to levels that allows the immune system to keep them under control. The greatest threat to a healthy microbiome is an overgrowth of harmful organisms (this is the very definition of dysbiosis.)
Of the above 3 steps, we understand that it is the anti-parasitic (i.e. ‘weeding’) stage that causes the most concern with introducing toxicity, disturbing a healthy balance of lifeforms in the gut, or leaving behind an incomplete eradication of harmful organisms that can live on and fight another day. An additional headache that also faces pharmaceutical interventions is a growing threat of resistance that all organisms eventually develop against drugs. All of these concerns can be managed by the formulations themselves, though. E.g.:
-
Is the anti-parasitic (weeding) formula comprehensive enough to address a wide array of potential co-infections that may be left behind after elimination of targeted pathogens/parasites? Including candida species?
-
Does the formula have an over-emphasis on gut health (in other words, a laxative), thereby ignoring infections outside of the digestive tract?
-
Do components of the formula work to stimulate the liver to mitigate die-off effects and help usher toxins more effectively out of the body?
-
Will the treatment need a long list of dietary recommendations to enable it to work?
-
Does it depend on an extensive application of “binders” or other eliminators that can themselves damage the microbiome and other elements of the digestive system if over-used?
-
Is the recommended course of treatment long enough to eliminate parasites in all their life stages, egg, larvae and adult? (‘Weeding' treatments lasting less than thirty days will fail miserably here, and is a key letdown in most WSF protocols.)
-
What are the concentrations of the truly potent herbs in the formula? Does it rely on levels of Artemisia species or Black walnut in levels that are bordering on dangerous?
-
Will the formula work to indiscriminately eliminate beneficial bacteria in the gut, or will it limit its action to just harmful organisms?
-
How do the raw materials in the formula synergistically bounce off each other?
There are of course many other considerations that need to be taken into account when crafting a natural treatment that is essentially a killer, but all of this can be covered when creating the right formula. Herbs are not new substances to humankind, and enough has been learned over the many thousands of years they’ve been used in healing to cover points of concern. We are very particular to work with products that help eliminate what shouldn’t be present (or at least those present in numbers whereby they overpower the immune system and cause symptoms), and at the same time doesn’t disrupt the microbiome. The formula we use as a ‘weeding’ phase is the result of over 45 years of research and development and is has helped many (many) tens of thousands of people around the world to re-establish a healthy microbiome.
It is true that there are about as many opinions on how to treat disease and manage gut health in the field of natural health as there are healers. But it is noteworthy that we work with many hundreds of cutting-edge practitioners across numerous modalities all around the world that employ principles of healing that we espouse, including those that break with convention, with enormous success. A powerful endorsement of this is the number of RCP (root cause protocol) practitioners that have approached us in recent times asking how to incorporate our philosophy and treatments into their own protocols as they see how seeding and feeding promotes the environment within the gut.
The 30 Day Genesis Wellness Program Seed & Feed is exactly that. This boxed kit includes 2 products. One is a naturally-fermented wholefood pre/probiotic with vitamins and living enzymes. The other is an ocean-derived ionic sea mineral product with a combination of macro and trace elements that is reportedly 98% similar to human plasma, along with protective herbs. This ’Seed & Feed’ program is a nutritional enhancement pack (nothing more is needed).
We hope the above information has satisfied your concerns somewhat about what we are doing here. As we’ve already noted, every practitioner seems to have a way of moving forward which we respect, and if they are getting the results they are aiming for then there is little reason to fix what isn’t broken. But we are getting tremendous results in helping people with all sorts of health problems with this simple approach, including to help restore the microbiome and not harm it.

I heard a suggestion about pulsing the treatment to allow the eggs to hatch. Could you please give administration requirements for this too for each organism.
We do not recommend “pulsing” a Vitaklenz treatment as this product is not designed to be used in this fashion. Continuous use over (minimum) 30 days, (often) 60 days, (sometimes) 90 days or (rarely) 120 days is the way to get the best results. Always follow a Vitaklenz treatment with a 'seeding' treatment, such as with Vitaklenz Recharge/Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost combination. You can judge which of the above timeframes are most appropriate for each client by monitoring their progress while on the treatment, but 60 days is the where most people comfortably sit.
The above recommendations are identical if used in conjunction with Vitaklenz or Vitaklenz for Kidz.
Can I use VitaKlenz for Kidz specifically to get rid of Roundworm? My child has tested positive for roundworm and I am seeking best natural way to treat the issue.

Legal restrictions prevent us from publishing any claims about this product treating any named condition such as roundworm infection. In most countries the endorsed view it that 'only drugs can cure disease', which is often backed up with criminal penalties for contradicting. We like to keep our noses clean here at Genesis!
Of course roundworm is a broad category of species, and includes pinworms (which some jurisdictions allow us to make claims on in connection with our products), but most likely your child's test has been positive for Ascaris lumbricoides, (human roundworm), or possibly Strongyloides sterecoralis, a very different type of organism indeed.
We can advise you that are aware of many hundreds of practitioners that have used this product in their protocols for treating roundworm species, though. Hopefully you can discern our meaning.

You state that the pinworm eggs live for up to three weeks in the environment. I don’t know if I can clean everything my child is exposed to in every location he spends time in. If my child takes the supplement for one month, is that better since the eggs will most likely be eliminated firming his treatment? (Once the one month is over, will he pick up pin worms over and over again?) Is it better to use this supplement once or twice a year? Do you have any advice on how I can effectively cleaning eggs away?
The sad truth is that nothing stops us picking up pinworm eggs, and the prolific nature of their breeding truly sees them as the masters of the human race.
Nevertheless, regular treatments as you suggest along with a healthy diet, a good naturally fermented probiotic (e.g. Vitaklenz Recharge) and a comprehensive mineral supplement (like Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost) will certainly boost your child’s defences and slow down reinfection. This is how weed, seed and feed actually works. Use pre-emptive cleansing treatments to reduce numbers of organisms down to manageable levels once or twice per year (weeding), and then use the ‘off’ months to build up the immune system with essential nutrition (seeding and feeding).
After 6 weeks into the programme I cannot report any remarkable changes. My stool is never a nicely formed "sausage", although it is brown now (used to be more yellow). I have not noticed any breakdown of biofilm or discharge of parasites so far. Is there something I need to change or do I just need to be more patient?
Most people expect to see a visible manifestation of parasites in the toilet bowl once they get into a cleanse, but this is not always typical. Even when it does happen, only a fraction of the parasites cleared will be visible with the naked eye. I’m afraid this is one of the misconceptions encouraged by manufacturers that have simpler laxative-type products. Parasites out of the gut tend to be microbes can cannot be seen with the unaided eye. When people don’t see what they are expecting then sometimes the assumption is that the treatment isn’t working at all.
Not having any changes after a significant time on Vitaklenz is unusual and probably indicates something else is going on, though. In these cases, our first instinct is to encourage some chiropractic adjustments to ensure the central nervous system is working freely as this impacts the healing pathways throughout the body. We always start at the digestive system and ask for a focus on T4 to T6, T12 and L1 vertebrae to be checked out.
Also start experimenting with your dose of Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost. Try adjusting your dosage up slightly each day until you experience a watery bowel motion (this is called achieving ‘bowel tolerance’). Once you notice this, then back off your dosage of Genesis Sea Minerals until bowel motions normalise. This will ensure you are ingesting sufficient minerals to remain completely hydrated throughout this process, and that you are receiving the maximum benefit of the herbs in the Supa Boost formula as well for optimum success.
I have a patient with a chronic itchy bum. They've used Vitaklenz in the past which has helped their gut a lot, although they still have itchy bum. Do you know how to treat this? Microbiome mapping stool test came back negative for any parasites, but I think stool test may have missed some around the anal area.
Recalcitrant pinworm infection is known and we do hear of it from time to time. Usually people have tried a succession of treatments starting with combantrin or vermox (or both), before proceeding onto various natural remedies. Vitaklenz seems to be at the end of the cue for most, and it is then that we end up hearing from frustrated mums and dads (and adult sufferers as well) asking for advice.
You’ve also hit upon a key limitation of microbiome testing which we have often pointed out - the evidence of the infection has to be present in the sample when taken before a positive identification can be made. This weakness also plagues pathology services as well rendering diagnosis of gut complaints from these techniques unreliable.
There is a discussion of persistent pinworm infections in the book The Inside Story on Gut Health amongst a whole lot of other information on pinworms. Here is the subheading copies and pasted for your reference:
Persistent Infections

No matter how evidence based or common sensible a treatment is, nothing can be regarded as 100% effective. This is true with cancer treatments, painkillers, and also antiparasitic programs. Every human is unique in their response to the medicines they ingest, and sometimes results are thrown up that surprise and disappoint. Occasionally we get contacted by frustrated parents who have followed these wellness protocol suggestions and still are dealing with signs of infection. Nothing can be more frustrating, particularly for sleep-deprived parents, who are reaching their wits’ end, and their children, who are dealing with the ongoing irritation of a persistent pinworm infection despite treatment. What is going on, and how can this be handled?

It is noteworthy that in almost every one of these situations we have handled over the last twenty years, not only did the herbal preparations appear to fail, but so did the pharmaceutical ones before them. Often it is a failure of the drugs, and the refusal of a doctor to admit that such is even possible, that has led them to the natural clinic in the first place.
When such radically different medicines fail, then this can be taken as a strong indication that there is a digestive issue at play. This typically involves an impediment somewhere that prevents an uptake of the herbs (and the drugs as well) that kill the parasites.
As with most medical journeys, a process of elimination is required to get to the cause of the problem. Sometimes, background symptoms indicate the need to test for pyrrole disorder, particularly if the subject is very thin or below weight. At other times, a more complex assessment of the digestive mechanism is needed to ascertain what is preventing the absorption of certain enzymes related to worm-killing action.
Combining herbal treatments with ionic minerals can often boost bioavailability (absorption) of the herbs, compounding their potency. Ions are binders and carriers, so if there is just a simple lag in the digestive system absorbing the necessary phytochemicals, then this often does the trick. This is often the first response to a persistent infection and generally sees good results. Caution should always be used in combining potent ionic minerals with drugs, though. Ions can make anything else work stronger, and the dosages of pharmaceuticals tend to be finely tuned due to their more intrusive approach.
Some practitioners have successfully bypassed an obstinate digestive system entirely by using the anti-worming agents as suppositories. This option targets the worms right where they are breeding, disrupting the process and offering instant relief. It also enables absorption of the herbs without having to negotiate a compromised digestive system, while at the same time avoiding any reluctance to take bitter herbs owing to taste. Nevertheless, inserting a tablet or capsule into a child’s (or one’s own) bottom comes with its own drawbacks. Any medicine given in this manner should be well coated in a friendly oil, such as olive or coconut varieties.
Others have found success in crushing the herbal vermifuge tablets or opening capsules and mixing the contents with an inert cream to apply around anal and vulval areas at night. This interrupts the pinworm lifecycle and is a useful suggestion for very young children who suppositories may not be suitable for, or for pregnant mums who cannot take the herbs.
Finally, chiropractic adjustments in the lower lumbar region (L3 to coccyx) can also be used to open up the central nervous system’s healing pathways for this part of the anatomy. This ensures other treatments (like herbal or drug vermifuges) are working to maximum effect.

I have a friend diagnosed with Helicobacter pylori and is seeing a naturopath, but she's concerned after researching the side effects of the treatments recommended. What is a typical treatment protocol including Vitaklenz that practitioners use effectively in your experience?
We do not make any claims that Vitaklenz treats any named conditions such as H. pylori. Nevertheless, we are aware of practitioners using Vitkalenz products in conjunction with treatments for all sorts of things, and certainly encourage people to think of using Vitaklenz in a weed/seed approach for general health.
Typical protocols used by naturopaths involve the use of Vitaklenz & Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost simultaneously for 2-3 months together with oregano oil (which we don’t supply), then swap out Vitaklenz for Vitalklenz Recharge for a further 2 months (usually without the oregano). This helps support the system while the H. pylori is being treated.
While there is no harm in using Vitaklenz and probiotics such as Vitaklenz Recharge at the same time, we are aware that Vitaklenz might reduce the effectiveness of some beneficial bacteria. The suggestion to stage the treatment is mainly due to value-for-money considerations, and will still work as required. There is also merit in focussing the initial stages of the treatment (i.e. ‘weeding’) on elimination alone prior to repopulating the gut with protective bacterial agents – it is a very helpful mindset.
Another useful suggestion is to use enzymes that can raise the acidity of the gastric lumen in the initial stages of the treatment (weeding) as H. pylori works to raise pH of the stomach for self-preservation. There is a chapter on H. pylori in The Inside Story on Gut Health. It is definitely worth a read.
I have Dientomoeba fragilis and Blastocystis hominis and very low levels of iron which won't improve with any supplement. Am I feeding the parasites with these mineral supplements, increasing their numbers even more? I am about to start Vitaklenz and I'm hoping this may help with the iron absorption.
Some parasites do have a high nutritional requirement for iron which often drives anaemia, which in turn leads to iron supplementation and then leads to stronger parasite presence. A vicious cycle indeed. These tend to be more helminths than protozoan parasites such as the ones you mention, but our philosophy is always to conclude an effective parasite cleanse prior to embarking on any nutritional supplementation. This ensures parasite are cleared before they can take advantage of nutritional input from treatment protocols.
We would suggest taking Vitaklenz together with Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost for at least 2 months, but 3 may be required depending on your individual circumstances. During this time, you can also try adding in grapefruit seed extract and perhaps oregano oil (we don’t supply this but we are sure you have a source) to help move this specific treatment along a little more effectively.
Blasto certainly is stubborn, but D. fragilis is a lot easier to dislodge. Just remember that your goals are not to nuke these things out of the system (not a realistic goal with any approach), but to reduce their numbers down to levels to where the immune system can do its job and keep them under control (i.e. without symptoms). Then work on building up your defences with probiotics, probiotics, vitamins, minerals, etc (weed, then seed & feed). The Vitaklenz 30 Day Wellness Program has a lot of these bases covered.
Is Vitaklenz effective in targeting E. multilocularis and D. dentricticum in the liver? Are you aware of any laboratories either in Australia or abroad, that can test for these two parasites? Are you aware of any research papers that offer natural, or otherwise, options for eradicating the two helminths? Can I use Vitaklenz in conjunction with Mebendazole or Ivermectin?
As pathology is a field we don’t work with all too often (not at all, really) I’m afraid I can’t suggest anything beyond a general google search on testing facilities and seeing what you find. Often labs in the US are a little more open-minded than in other lands, so you might consider expanding your search to include facilities in that country as well. Sadly, it is unlikely that getting a positive diagnosis from an overseas service would add any credibility to your suspected diagnosis. Domestic doctors sometimes take a dim view of 'inferior' jurisdictions that spit out positive detections for parasites and pathogens they are told isn’t a local problem, and will often put down such results as false positives due to lack of quality control.
Mebendazole has a whole lot of discrediting data out there as well, but if used as directed it is unlikely to cause any problems. The main issue is with doctors using it as a one-stop-shop for everything they find which can be misleading and not do what it purports to do.
We can’t publish claims about Vitaklenz addressing named conditions, but I would suggest that if you kept using Vitaklenz while taking Ivermectin or Mebendazole there wouldn’t be any problems. If you also are taking Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost throughout this time then just remember to take it a couple of hours away from any drugs (remember that Mebendazole, Ivermectin and Fenbendazole are pharmaceutical drugs and not natural supplements).
I was recommended Vitaklenz to treat both my 5-month infant and myself for giardia (I think she got it from me via breast milk). How do I treat her since she is too young take Vitaklenz for Kidz?
It is extremely unlikely that your baby received giardia from your breastmilk. We have learned to trust the natural processes over the decades we’ve been involved with this field, and there is nothing more trustworthy than breastmilk. We would suggest you look at other sources of infection in your environment, such as water. Municipal water supplies often contain this organism. It is resistant to chlorine, and an infection of just a single organism can bring on symptoms. Food can also be a source of infection, but the parasite usually gets there from water in the first place.
We can’t make any claims in writing about our products treating named conditions such as Giardia lamblia due to legislative constraints, but we can pass on some feedback from how many practitioners are using Vitaklenz to support the treatment of this bug. (We are allowed to claim that Vitaklenz supports a healthy digestive function, after all - I hope you understand.) The following comments are based on this.
Vitaklenz capsules can be opened and fed to infants. We normally don’t recommend this due to the extremely unpleasant taste (bitter + garlic), but at the age of 5 months you would only use about a quarter to a half a capsule per day, and at these minute amounts it might be possible to disguise small amounts in her food throughout the day. If you are giving her savoury food then that is the best medium (sweet foods don’t work well with the garlic content of Vitaklenz). Despite the minute amounts of Vitaklenz powder administered to your infant, we would recommend you proceed under the supervision of a natural health practitioner that can monitor your child's progress and any potential symptoms such as die-off effects.
We would also suggest giving her Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost to supplement the use of Vitaklenz based on the feedback from the many practitioners we work with. This is generally safe for newborn infants and will help along the effectiveness of Vitaklenz, useful when you have small children and can only administer small amounts of the capsule. Ocean-derived sea minerals are an awful-tasting, dense liquid, and Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost contains a number of herbs that will work hand-in-glove with the herbs of Vitaklenz. At 5-months of age she should only require 1 drop per day to start off with, but you can gradually increase her dose up to 3 or 4 drops potentially over the period of a few weeks. If she has very watery motions in her nappy/diaper then just back off the dose. ocean-derived sea minerals must always be given diluted, and Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost should be consumed as soon as you have done so. I would suggest placing a single drop in her food just prior to eating. It might be a good idea to avoid using Vitaklenz and Supa Boost in the same food portion until you see how she reacts to the relative tastes of these two products. Sea Minerals can often be used as a salt substitute.
As for yourself, 1 capsule of Vitaklenz taken 3 times per day, ideally 20-30 minutes prior to meals, and Supa Boost taken 2ml x 3 times per day with or following meals is often the course taken by practitioners. You can take the Sea Minerals all at once for convenience if you prefer - 1 teaspoon diluted in a mouthful of juice (fingers over the nose), then follow with a glass of water.
Can I open Vitaklenz capsules and give to my kids (8,6,4) at a smaller dose if needed. We have had a history with Dientamoeba fragilis (twice in 1 year) and I’d love to do a cleanse with them that actually can target that parasite as well as worms.
You cannot open the capsules and give the powder due to the extremely bitter taste of the herbs.

Clearing Infections
I am wondering if you have a product that could help with recovery from whooping cough?

While we don’t have anything specific for recovery for the condition that you mention, Sea Minerals Supa Boost is always a great option in cases like this. Unfortunately, we are unable to publish any claims about this product in connection with named health conditions.
You can find more including some general information about it here, though:
Candida

How do I know if I have Candida problem?

Have you tried the spit test for candida? It is a fairly simple and accurate way of monitoring the presence of this yeast organism in places where it shouldn’t be. Try the following:

-
Place a glass of water at your bed side tonight before sleep.
-
As soon as you wake up spit in the glass.
-
Leave it an hour then come back and observe what you see in the glass
-
Silvery roots growing out from the bottom of the spit toward the bottom of the glass indicate presence of candida in your mouth at night. If you are in the middle of a 'weeding' phase then you may need to extend your treatment by another month or two before proceeding on to the 'seeding' step.
-
No roots growing out from under the saliva suggest candida is not a factor and your detox-type experience might be related to something else.

Fasting
I am considering fasting just for the morning. Am I able to take all 3 tablets within a 5-hour window daily or am I best to space them out more than this please?
We appreciate your concerns about fasting and taking Vitaklenz capsules. In reality there is nothing in these that might interrupt a fast (the same with Genesis Sea Minerals) and it is best to take them spaced out throughout the day. Having said that, we are aware of practitioners that recommend taking them on only 2 occasions throughout the day instead of 3 and are still getting good results.
Vitaklenz Recharge will likely interfere with a fasting period though, but this only needs to be taken once in the day with a meal.
When fasting and taking Vitaklenz, is a protein drink considered 'food'? I sometimes do that instead of a breakfast. Also, can I take the Vitaklenz and Genesis Sea Minerals without food?
For the purpose of taking sea minerals, yes a protein shake can be considered food. Vitaklenz and Sea Minerals can be taken both with and without food. In our experience, Vitaklenz and Vitaklenz for Kidz work a little better if taken 20-30 minutes prior to a meal, and liquid sea minerals assimilate better if taken with or just after a meal, but if you forget or your routine doesn’t allow, then take together whenever convenient. They will still work.

Will Amenas Sea Minerals be back in stock soon?

In December 2024 Genesis purchased Amenas Sea Minerals after a long partnership. During that time, Amenas grew the herbs that are used in the sea mineral range, and together with Genesis, had a label-sharing agreement that lasted over 27 years. The liquid sea mineral ranges between the two brands are identical; they have always been bottled out of the same drums.

Due to the cost and logistical problems caused by supplying two identical products under different brands, Genesis took the difficult decision to wind up the Amenas brand and proceed with sea minerals just under the Genesis brand from July 2025 onward.
This has been a difficult adjustment for some, as particularly Amenas Daily Boost has been a staple for many consumers worldwide for many years. The product is still available though, just inside a blue Genesis bottle in the reduced 150ml size.

All of the original ocean-derived sea minerals previously sold as Amenas Sea Minerals are present in the Genesis Sea Mineral range: Amenas Daily Boost = Genesis Sea Minerals Plain, Amenas UltraBoost = Genesis Sea Minerals Supa Boost, and the Stinging Nettle and Hawthorn varieties are identically identified.

The targeted action of all of the Amenas Sea Mineral Creams are also cleverly covered by Genesis Sea Mineral Creams, although Genesis has always preferred to use a natural jojoba/coconut oil base to carry and deliver the active ingredients instead of the petroleum jelly base used by Amenas. All of the benefits of Amenas Sea Mineral Cream, Ultra Hydrating Cream and Nabolji Cream are found in Genesis Sea Mineral Nourishing Cream, while Amenas Sea Mineral Cream with Lawang Oil is now replaced by Genesis Jungle Balm Massage Cream (Jungle Balm = lawang oil).

Amenas Targeted Care Cream will continue to remain available from Genesis.
